The day started early with a early afternoon church ceremony. This ceremony location wasn't just chosen randomly. Instead Rachel and Blake decided to get married at the same place Rachel’s grandmother got married at over 50 years previously. The church was St. Barbara’s Church in Chicago and I Do Video was the Chicago wedding videographer they choose to capture it for them. The church was gigantic with ceilings that seemed to be 100 feet tall, however by the time of the ceremony it was filled with plenty of family and friends. The Catholic ceremony went well featuring a couple readings, lighting of the unity candles and of course the “I Do’s.”

Following the ceremony, we rushed over to Millennium Park which was fill with tourists and even quite a few different wedding parties using this beautiful setting to capture pictures on this sunny fall day. After getting shots all around the park, it was time for the reception right across the street at the Chicago Cultural Center. The place was decorated superbly and featuring a live band. A highlight of the reception was a surprise performance by Hula Chicago which presented the newlyweds with a trip to Hawaii from their parents! The night continued full of dinner, dancing and drinks as everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Rachel and Blake were very happy with the wedding videography services provided and had great feedback for our services.
